Specialty Rx Prescription Compounding
Leslie Adams, M.H., Pharm.D.
What is Compounding?
Compounding is a unique way to be able to provide medications to individual patients. It is a process in which the pharmacist uses pure ingredients to make your medications in a variety of different forms.

Why would I want or need to have a prescription compounded?
If you need a specific medication, medication strength or dose that is not available commercially, then your medication must be compounded.

Some examples include:
• Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy
• Flavoring Medications
• Veterinary Medicine
• Pain Management
• Allergies to Dyes or Preservatives
• Lactose Intolerant Patients

What is your flavor?

Did you know that our pharmacists can make medications taste good?
We have many flavors to choose from – like grape, peppermint, or bubblegum. Need something that your pet will love? We can make that for you too!
